He said he'd bring me back something pretty. ^o^

After that... more editing, and more shooting! =^o^=
I also have a family with FOUR boys lined up for when it snows to do some family portraits making snow angels, having snowball fights, etc. O.O|| zomgoodness... I'm DEF going to need a superb assistant along for THAT shoot.. O.O||

    Happy Holidayssssss!! :D

Oh yeah. The new photography business website is up, so is the personal portfolio website (I need to make one big change, I need a diff photo gallery, w00t for Slideshow Pro!) ... my logo and business card are done, dittos on the mailer, Client package/pricelist/ReturnDate card/printed samples, CD cover design, etc.

So far, the naysayers about my business are being proved wrong. Even though I am severly Business-Handicapped... My Mum has volunteered to do PR and the type of promotion stuff I hate, as well as helping organize the financial end... and my Poppy's office is doing the printing at a WAY cheaper cost, so I can offer really high quality products at a very reasonable price along with Canvas and special Cut-out shots on Sintra! :D

I'm very relieved... now if I can just get through the next 20 hours... I should be fine. ^o^

  • A teaser...

    A teaser from a shoot I did today. ^o^ Aren't they cute!? :D

For a friend... this is Heather being a bored middle-school-university student... <,<

Logo I designed for my little brother on the fly... the grey embellishment has been changed to the deep green from the first edition, his fav colour. :) The other design I have is WAY more interesting, but it's very time intensive. It'll be a while before I finish it.

Okay, so this isn't a real update... but hopefully a real one will be forthcoming in the near future. :D

About Me

  • I am a 20ish female university student. I graduate the end of December 2008. Yay! I am intensely interested in foreign cultures. I am currently learning Chinese with Traditional writing as opposed to Simplified. I have been introduced to the basics of Pinyin, and I have become familiar with the Taiwanese phonics characters and sounds. However, I still have a LOOONG way to go before I'm proficient. My goal for the next few years is to continue my Chinese studies in Taiwan for two years. Then move to Korea for a year or two in order to improve my Korean speaking. After I have become fairly proficient in both languages, I will find a job in my fields of Digital Media and International&Intercultural Studies. *yay* I also want to continue my study of the Japanese language. Currently I am planning to be in Asia for the next 10 years. (Approx. Aug. 2009, until December 2019.) God Bless!

@JayTrinh - hmmm... yeah that's weird... You think if they could put a reply on one page, you'd be able to do it on another page... o.O Anyway, thanks for the info... I'll look her up sometime... Cantonese or not, I don't have to be able to understand her songs to appreciate them... thankfully. What
  • JayTrinh
ryc: lol yes, it's Cantonese. The song is called Ming Zhi Gu Fan by Mavis Hee. It's too bad there's no 'reply button' on audio posts :P

Remember that time I put that personal ad in the paper? The one that read, "I like midnight strolls in the falling snow down softly lit city streets wearing matching mittens, scarf and hat whilst discussing '1984' and the evils of icy sidewalks." ROFL ^_-
  • JayTrinh
Remember when you were driving alone down a busy street and you were singing a Mandarin song at the top of your lungs with the windows down? HAHA The crowded street of Asians all looked at you as if suggesting that you're mocking them lmao! :D
